PN POONGNYUN Co., Ltd. is a kitchenware company which has kept its tradition based on craftsmanship since it was established in 1954.
With its strict quality and strict production management system, 'POONGNYUN Pressure Cooker' which is the representative product of PN POONGNYUN maintains the top position in Korea.
Based on our accumulated experience and know-how for many years, we became the only manufacturer which is producing pressure cookers using gravity casting method in Korea. In addition to the pressure cookers, we also produce various kinds of aluminum and stainless steel pans and frying pans.
We have exported a variety of products to many countries such as Southeast Asia, Japan, USA and Europe as well as in local market, which made PN POONGNYUN gain a global repuation as a kitchenware company.


At the beginning of the 1970s, the history of the pressure cooker of PN POONGNYUN started when the foreign pressure cookers called "Digester" were imported and developed into the domestic market.
After 3 years of long research, PN POONGNYUN research lab developed the 'POONGNYUN Pressure Cooker', which is suitable for cooking Korean food, and launched the first pressure cooker in 1973.
In the 1970s, the Korean government supplied 'Tongil rice' variety for the purpose of increasing rice production. As a superb cooking tool that could make the rough taste of 'Tongil' rice soft and flavorous, the 'POONGNYUN Pressure Cooker' went viral throughout the country.
